Chamber Auction 2012
This year’s auction is, Wednesday, October 10th at APOLLO PARK FIELD HOUSE
Profits from the Auction fund programs such as our Alsip Scholarship Program, Partners In Progress Awards and our support of many area organizations. In addition, the Chamber provides many networking and educational opportunities to the business community.
Each year, companies and organizations such as yours donate products/services to be auctioned in exchange for the publicity received.
Alsip is home to over 800 companies, 20,000 residents, & a daily workforce of 40,000 that lives all over the Chicagoland area. Each year the Alsip Chamber of Commerce hosts an auction fundraiser.
It has become a great way to familiarize the area companies, residents and workers with products and services available in Alsip, and the surrounding areas. When times are tight, companies need to be creative to bring customers to their doors.
At the time of our auction, many of the bidders will be looking for unique gifts for the holidays.
Certificates for dinner, gasoline, beautician and spa services, golf, sporting events, theater, musical events, frequent flyer miles, time shares, travel or unique attractions are great Christmas gift ideas.
Those who donate outdoor event items, please remember that these will not be used until spring of 2013 and the expiration dates should reflect this. Donations for 2013 season that you may not have tickets for as yet,can be in the form of a letter to be redeemed in spring when these event schedules are finalized.
If you would like us to make up a gift certificate for your items, please let us know what you wish to donate and we will create a certificate for you.
Your donation would be greatly appreciated and will help familiarize auction attendees with your business.
In exchange for your contribution, your company will be advertised in our pre-auction publicity, listed in our auction program, on our website, and announced as your items are auctioned.
In order to include your contribution in all our publicity and in our auction program, we should have your item by September 10th.
We want to be sure you receive as much publicity as possible for your support– our way of helping get your name out there in exchange for your support.
